MPC- Media Production City Riad

A drop of fresh water - this is the connotation the appearance of the building will evoke. It’s shape is unconventional - a perfect example of a landmark. Based on a rectangular plan the building’s outer skin is curved. A grid of aluminium profiles is providing the exact shape.
The building is divided by a strong diagonal cut. This canyon gives access to a multi-storey and staggered atrium. Above all, a lightweight membrane structure covers the atrium and provides sun protection.
Different scenarios of light and illumination can be programmed, which will render the building with a variety of emotional atmospheres during the hours of darkness.
